Bally’s Will Build New Pennsylvania Casino

American betting group Bally’s has announced that they’re working with investor Ira Lubert to build a new casino in Pennsylvania, putting in roughly $120 million into the property.

Construction of the casino will begin in the first half of this year and will be a Class 4 facility. The site will be located within 15 miles of Unionville, Pennsylvania. It’s expected that the new casino will have up to 750 slots machines, 30 table games, and will also offer a retail sportsbook. Online betting will also be permitted through the casino, with sublicenses available to those who want to offer the service.

Commenting on the project Bally CEO George Papanier said, “Expanding our rapidly growing, national footprint into the attractive Pennsylvania gaming market represents yet another major milestone for Bally’s and a great way to cap off a truly extraordinary year.”

As of press time a name for the project, exact location of the casino, and an opening date have not been made available.
