The NFC East has been up for grabs all season but will be settled this weekend. However, just winning this game will not be enough as both teams will still need the Washington Football Team to lose to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night to walk away as division champs.
The Cowboys looked all but dead in the water before winning their last three games to put themselves back into the playoff conversation. Dallas won the first meeting of the season between the two clubs 37-34 on October 11th. The Cowboys are favored by 1.5 points in this matchup and there are plenty of player props to consider.

Ezekiel Elliott is Fully Healthy
Ezekiel Elliott by his standards has had a “down” year. It’s not completely his fault as the Cowboys have experienced their fair share of change this season. From a new pass-happy head coach, to Dak Prescott getting hurt, to their offensive line being ravaged by injury.
Still Elliott is knocking on the door of 1000 rushing yards and has turned in his third best receiving season in terms of receptions. He is sliding under the radar at many sports books due to his team’s roller coaster season. It is important that bettors not forget that Ezekiel Elliott is still Ezekiel Elliott.
Players with at least 1,200 scrimmage yards and 7 touchdowns in each of first five seasons in NFL history:
Ezekiel Elliott (2016-2020)
LaDainian Tomlinson (2001-2005)
Randy Moss (1998-2002)
Ricky Watters (1992-1996)

While the Giants have done a decent job stopping the run this season, they have not done so well in slowing down running backs in the pass game. In fact, only two teams in the NFL have given up more receiving yards to the position in the pass game. Despite missing a game this season, only four running backs have seen more targets that Elliott’s 67.
The receiving aspect is important because even if the the Cowboys are forced to play in a negative game-script, Elliott can still be utilized. We already know he can run the ball after going for 91 yards on 19 carries the last time these two teams played. But instead of taking his rushing yards prop over, it seems like the safer move is his rushing plus receiving yards prop.
The Pick: Ezekiel Elliott Over 85.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards

The obvious play here is Ezekiel Elliot but his odds at at +105 which is steep for a guy who has only scored one touchdown since November 1st. He did score twice in the last meeting with the Giants back on October 11 which is no doubt having an affect on his odds this time around. Still, it would be wise to look elsewhere.
Sterling Shepard -> highest graded player for the Giants yesterday.
9 catches on 11 targets, 77 yards and a touchdown. 12th best grade among qualified WRs for week 16. pic.twitter.com/zTQmsRWm9A

So far this season no team has given up more receiving touchdowns to the wide receiver position than the Cowboys. They have given up at least one in each of their last four games and in two of those games, two different wide outs scored. With Golden Tate possibly being limited or out, Sterling Shepard seems to be the best bet of the remaining Giants’ receivers to find pay dirt this Sunday.
Pick: Sterling Shepard – Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+200)
