NFL tips 2020: Wild Card Weekend

The Wild Card Weekend kicks off on the heels of the highest-scoring regular season in NFL history and I’m back with some more NFL tips for the action ahead.

Actually, it was packed with almost 12,700 points and over 1470 touchdowns, which is more than ever in the NFL’s previous 100 years. It’s been one heck of a season. Teams have been more of a threat than ever. Led by reliable veterans, and extraordinary newcomers. They’ve all proven their right to be on the road to Super Bowl LV in Tampa Bay.

A historical fact for you… the away team has won six of the last eight Wild Card games in the past two seasons. Since the 2017 playoffs, road teams are 8-4. And, in seven of the past eight seasons, at least one road team has won a Wild Card game. So… keep an eye on that! Anyway, without further ado, here are my NFL tips for Wild Card Weekend and the Rollover £4,000+ Pick 4. Make sure you join my Syndicate as well.

NFL tips

IND Colts @ BUF Bills

The Indianapolis Colts (11-5) clinched its second playoff berth in the past three seasons. They head to Buffalo to take on the Bills (13-3) who’ve secured their third playoff berth in the past four seasons, and won their division for the first time since 1995 and earned their first home playoff game since the 1996 season.

Considering it was his first season with the Colts, Philip Rivers played well. It’s been a great underdog story but honestly, I don’t feel like it’ll be enough when going up against the high-flying Bills.

Pick: Bills 1-6, 7-12.

LA Rams @ SEA Seahawks

The Los Angeles Rams (10-6) have clinched a playoff berth in three of the past four seasons. They head to CenturyLink to take on the Seattle Seahawks (12-4) who are in the playoffs for the ninth time in 11 seasons.

There are questions around whether Jared Goff will be ready to play having suffered back in Week 16 a fractured and dislocated thumb in his throwing hand. Or will the Rams have to rely on Wolford?

Seattle on the other hand, led by MVP Candidate Russell Wilson accounted for 42 touchdowns, leading the Seahawks to over four touchdowns a game during the regular season.

What can you expect in this game? It’s too difficult to see the Rams causing an upset here but I can see Aaron Donald having a good game. It won’t be enough to compete. #InRussWeTrust

Pick: Seahawks 7-12, 13-18.

BAL Ravens @ TEN Titans

The Baltimore Ravens (11-5) are playoff bound for the third consecutive season and the ninth time in 13 years. They head to Tennessee to meet the Titans (11-5) who captured its first division crown since 2008 and is in the postseason for a second straight year.

As the Titans head to the playoffs, they need to address the concerns on the defensive side of the ball. Whereas the Ravens are on a high after five consecutive wins. Will this be a close game? You bet. Will it be high scoring? Without a doubt! This could well be the most exciting game of the weekend!

Pick: Ravens 1-6. Titans 1-6.

CHI Bears @ NO Saints

The Chicago Bears (8-8) who have clinched its second postseason berth in three years head to New Orleans to take on the Saints (12-4) who’ve secured their fourth consecutive division title and their ninth playoff berth in 14 seasons. It’s been one heck of a season for the Saints and they have the Super Bowl on their mind.

Whereas this is probably a bit of a surprise for the Bears who lost six games in a row earlier in the season. They finished the season having lost six of seven against teams who had winning records. Their wins are thanks to playing equally poor teams in the Jaguars and Texans. Don’t expect too much from the Bears in the game – Saints will get plenty of points up on the board to kill their chances.

Pick: Saints 7-12, 13-18
