Benevento vs AC Milan (Sunday, 17:00)
Serie A is back after a short holiday and AC Milan will be looking to maintain their place at the summit of the standings when they travel to Benevento on Sunday.
Stefano Pioli’s men are unbeaten in Italy’s top-flight since last February and they will fancy their chances of extending that staggering sequence at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito.
Benevento have adjusted well to life back in Serie A and go into this clash on the back of consecutive 2-0 wins over Genoa and Udinese respectively.
However, a very different game is in-store against a rampant AC Milan side, but an away win looks too short to put up at a general 3/5.
AC Milan have triumphed in 10 of their 14 top-flight tussles this term and six of those successes have come away from the San Siro.
What’s more, the men from Milan have made the net bulge at least twice in each of their last 16 league matches and 11 of their 14 assignments this season have featured three or more match goals.
However, the Rossoneri have recorded just one Serie A shutout in their last 12 outings so Pioli’s charges may well require two or more strikes if they are to remain on their perch.
It’s also worth noting that the above-mentioned combination has clicked in all 10 of AC Milan’s Serie A wins this season and that only adds to the appeal of siding with the same formula on Sunday.
